8 Couples That Could Make It Red Carpet Official At The VMAs

The Video Music Awards are not only a big night for music — they’re also a big night for couples.

Several high-profile twosomes have made their debut on the VMA red carpet — Jay Z andBeyonce, Wiz Khalifia and Amber Rose, Riff Raff and Katy Perry (kind of) — and this year, there could be many more.

So who is going to make it red carpet official at the 2015 Video Music Awards? We have a few (or eight) guesses — and wishes — based on our stellar nominee list and who we hope makes an appearance:

Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris

Yes, they made their debut at the Billboard Music Awards, but that was inside the awards show, not on the red carpet. We want to see these two posing together and staring longingly into each other’s eyes as hundreds of photographers snap their oh-so-gorgeous pic.

It’s sort of crazy to me that after more than five years together these two have yet to pose together on the red carpet. Sure, they are super affectionate and open with their relationship on Instagram, but I’m hoping they bring that to the VMAs and make their first red carpet appearance as a couple.

These two have been flaunting their love onstage during Nicki’s Pink Print Tour, but I think it’s time they take their love to the VMAs — because Nicki and Meek have a real shot at taking home the award for best couple.

Bella Hadid And The Weeknd

Being a big performer and nominee, we would hope that The Weeknd’s GF, model Bella Hadid, would be there to support him. The two are pretty low-key and are rarely seen in public together, so we may have a better chance of catching Bella in the audience cheering him on.

Kylie and Tyga have been flying under the radar for several months, but since she turned the big 1-8 they’ve had no trouble packing on the PDA, so we think the VMAs is the perfect place to make it red carpet-official.

The super stylish couple, who have been dating for about nine months, both attended the premiereof Cara’s movie, “Paper Towns,” but did not get photographed together. Let’s change that at the VMAs, OK? We hope they make a very stylish appearance.

Gigi Hadid And Joe Jonas

Gigi and Joe, aka G.I. Joe, are quickly becoming my new favorite couple, especially after she threw him that surprise party with the ultimate squad goals. It’s totally possible these two could show up, since Joe might want to lend some support to his baby bro during his big pre-show performance.

Rita Ora And Wiz Khalifa

We have no idea if these two are dating or just working on some new music, so maybe they could let us know VMA night?
