Here’s What Justin Timberlake Thought Of Kanye’s ‘Cute’ VMA Acceptance Speech

Here’s What Justin Timberlake Thought Of Kanye’s ‘Cute’ VMA Acceptance Speech
Kanye = cute.

By now, we’ve all watched and re-watched Kanye West’s epic 11-minute acceptance speech of his VMA Video Vanguard award last night (August 30). And maybe some of us have even bought our Kanye 2020 presidential run T-shirts because, you know, he ended the whole thing by announcing he was going to run for office in five years.

But while the finale of his speech has gotten a ton of attention, the whole thing is worth diving into (you can read it right here), especially for what Yeezy said at the front of it.

Early on, Ye stumped for Gnarls Barkley and Justin Timberlake, saying they were both robbed at the 2007 Grammys when they lost the Album Of The Year award — and that JT was so crushed by losing out (to the Dixie Chicks) that he cried.

“I sat at the Grammys and saw Justin Timberlake and Cee-Lo lose. Gnarls Barkley and theFutureLove … “SexyBack” album … and Justin, I ain’t trying to put you on blast, but I saw that man in tears, bro. You know, and I was thinking, like, ’He deserved to win Album of the Year!’,” Kanye said.

Well, JT took to Twitter to respond to Ye’s recollections with some ribbing of his own.

But lest we think Justin was trying to beef, he cleared up his comment immediately.

And three hours later, just in case there was any doubt left, JT put the whole matter to bed and let all us know exactly where he stands.
